Belogradchik Trail Marathon offers a memorable new experience to all participants at its premier edition, in 2019. A new story is waiting to be written for any runner daring to explore the wild Belogradchik, representing one of the last genuinely wild regions in Bulgaria. The event is open to both competitive and enthusiast participants and offers either individual or relay formats.
The stunning scenery, entirely new tracks passing through forests and natural and historical areas of untamed beauty, a friendly and vibrant atmosphere, all concur to ensure an unforgettable experience, worth being shared and further relived.
RUN for FUN - Belogradchik Trail Marathon is an outdoor mass event, which is NOT a competition and it has NO Registration FEES!
Through the 2019 RUN for FUN events we want to launch a campaign against sedentarism, by promoting a healthy lifestyle and fighting for the sport to become a "compulsory matter" in the people`s lives.
We believe in moving the world through sport! So, by this running event we challenge you to join us and live the Belogradchik Trail Marathon experience at the 1st edition!
Please keep in mind that any information regarding the official program can be modified before the day of the event. We recommend you to check the official program constantly, till the day of the event.
RUN for FUN – Belogradchik Trail Marathon is an outdoor event, which aims to challenge yourself in one cross country run, the middle of the unique nature of the Belogradchik Rocks.

It’s on Saturday, November 16th 2019, rain or shine!
The pick-up of the numbers with the BIB tag code will start at 8:00 till 10:30. Participants will be registered at the type of trail they wish to run.
The official inauguration will be at 10:30 AM, starting with the entertainment and warm-up before the Start.
The Start will be at 11:00 AM for all the trails, when all participants will be lined up at the Start.

Everybody is welcome, from professional athletes to amateur runners. That means whether you’re looking to run, walk, jog, ready to set a personal or trail record, there’s a place for you. The trail is open to anybody older than 6 years old (the day of the trail).

*For this event, the Organizers offer accommodation and lunch for a limited number of participants that have the residence at minimum 50 km distance from Falkovets. The total number of these participants is 100, and the principle is "first come, first served".

Registration can only be done ONLINE, on the website www.greentourpro.eu, the section exclusively created for the running event, until November 14th 2019.
The results of the event will be reported with a professional timing system. Each participant will have a start number with a special bib tag code.
Participants will be registered in which of the three distances they wish to participate:

All participants must be medically fit, physically as well as mentally. The participation to this event takes place on own responsibility and risk. By registering and participating at the event, each athlete agrees that the organizers in charge of the event cannot be deemed liable for accidents or damages resulting from the participation to this event.
All participants must wear the event number in order to receive the official time. The number must be worn on the front of the t-shirt, must be kept in good condition and must be easily visible for the event judges. The timing chip must be placed on the participant`s number in the position recommended by the organizers, so that the time is validated.
Minors may participate to this event only accompanied by an adult. All athletes under 18 years of age must produce the identity document, the written consent of one of the parents or legal guardian.
The minimum age for participating at the Kids Trail is 6 years at the time of the event. The minimum age for participating to the Popular Trail is 10 years at the time of the event. The minimum age for participating at the Marathon Trail is 18 years at the time of the event.
The corporations, schools and other organizations registering in group are in charge of collecting such documents for the minors in those groups, and they must hand them over to the organizers before the trail.
During the trail, all participants must wear proper sports equipment.

Registration and validation
The final date for online registration is November 14th 2019!
Registration can only be done ONLINE, on the website www.greentourpro.eu, the section exclusively created for the running event, until November 14th 2019.
Registration is done by completing the Registration form available on the website www.greentourpro.eu. After completing the form, the registered person will receive an email confirming the registration.
Registration for this event is FREE!
The renunciation/ assignment of a place of registration must be made and announced by November 14th 2019, 20:00, at the email address: office@actisclub.ro.
The validation of the entries and the participant kit pick-up will take place in the day of the event, between 08:00 and 10:30, at the start line.
Upon validation of the registration, the identity card will be presented, the Declaration signed on its own responsibility in case of accident and the Attendance List.
Withdrawal from the event
The ORGANIZER reserves the right to withdraw a participant in the following cases:
- the participant was injured and the state does not allow him to continue the trail;
- in exceptional cases.
Trail safety
Other people and animals can be found on the route. This fact attracts the obligation of the participants to respect the rules of civic conduct. Any accident involving RUN for FUN participants, which occur during the event due to non-observance of the rules of the event and the rules of civic conduct, will be the responsibility of those involved in the accident.
The participants are responsible for participating in this event, the Organizer assumes no obligation in case of injury or other consequences that may occur during this event.
Also, the Organizer assumes no responsibility for lost or forgotten objects on the trail during the event.
Event cancelling
The Organizer reserves the right to change the location of the event at any time, with the obligation to announce the changes in advance.
The Organizer reserves the right to cancel/ postpone the event in exceptional cases, on the condition that all participants are notified in advance. In case of bad weather conditions and/ or other special conditions, the Organizer reserves the right to stop the event or to change the time barriers.
In case of force majeure, we understand the events that could influence the smooth running of the event such as: major floods, natural disasters or other major events that cause the Organizer to cancel RUN for FUN.
