Located in the southernmost point of Romania, it comprises a complex that stretched over a long period of bronze until medieval times. Here is the oldest Geto-Dacian fortress in Muntenia, Zimnidava, which will become, under the reign of Mircea the Elder, a medieval fortress named Dezimnikos.
